OeKB occupies a special position as the central financial services provider in Austria and covers significant areas of expertise with its five service areas of export, capital market, energy market, development finance, and tourism.
As a central digitization measure, new customer portals and several applications were developed for the export and capital market business areas in cooperation with the relevant departments and the IT department of OeKB.
The new platforms offer customers a digital interface for using numerous OeKB services. Further online services will be gradually integrated.
User research throughout the entire course of the project. For example, prototype variants were tested in numerous acceptance checks with real users in terms of functionality, comprehensibility and conformity to expectations.
During the joint design process with the help of prototyping, customer feedback was continuously obtained to ensure an optimal user experience. With a modern and clear UX and UI concept, the portals, which are each geared towards a target group, offer uniform and central access to the relevant OeKB services.
Our development team at FONDA Labs ensures that the developed UX/UI concept is perfectly implemented on the front end – in this case based on PrimeNG – and appropriately communicated to OeKB’s IT department, which is responsible for the back-end implementation.
To ensure the long-term consistency of all newly developed applications and to enable efficient technical development, a “living style guide” was developed with all UX and design guidelines as well as code snippets.
