New self-image, new claim, new logo, new corporate design

VOR is the largest transport association in Austria and has ensured nationwide mobility and comprehensive service for all passengers in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland with more than 40 rail and bus transport partners since 1984.

VOR wanted to become “more uncomplicated” and therefore introduced a uniform fare system for public transport in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland in 2016. This “simplicity” was also to be reflected in the brand identity.

From Claim to “Bus Branding”

The rebranding was rolled out to applications. First and foremost, to over 2,000 buses that are on the road in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland.

One Brand, Many Applications

After an extensive brand development process together with several VOR stakeholders, the claim, logo and corporate design were developed and rolled out to numerous applications:

  • Buses and rail vehicles
  • Tickets and passes
  • Timetables at stops
  • The website www.vor.at was redesigned – including a route planner and a clever ticket manager widget
  • The ticket manager app was redesigned
  • Promotional material and give-aways
  • Signage
  • Office templates
  • Tickets and passes
  • Timetables at bus stops
  • Terminals in the buses
  • Information campaign in print, outdoor and online
  • and much more
