Development of a betting game for the Vienna Insurance Group intranet

As the leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe, VIG wanted to create a digital offering that would connect its employees across national borders during the 2024 European Football Championship. The aim of the project was to encourage all 30,000 international employees to make more intensive use of the shared VIG Groupnet. At the same time, the aim was to strengthen the sense of community and promote communication within the Group. Both goals were achieved – almost 70,000 tips were submitted.

Fonda was responsible for the concept, design and implementation of the betting game. We developed the UI design, which includes intuitive scoring, leaderboards and user-friendly login options. We also took care of the technical implementation and the seamless integration of the betting game into the VIG intranet (also developed by FONDA).
