The University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten enjoys international recognition and stands for high-quality university education. The focus on teaching and research is always kept up to date, and an agile development and adaptation to the current economic situation brings interested students from all over Austria and Europe to St. Pölten.
The numerous departments deal with railway technology and mobility, health, IT and security, media and digital technologies, media and economics, as well as social issues. The combination of subject areas creates space for interdisciplinary scientific findings, products and solutions for the economy and society. More than 3,000 students receive practical academic training in the 22 study and further education courses.
In 2015, the aim was to make this large offer for the various target groups clear and informative. Students, researchers and the business community, as cooperation partners, were to be addressed equally.
First of all - in view of the imminent relaunch of the website - a new, flexible corporate design was developed in which all departments and topics are found.
For the development of the website, several workshops took place for brainstorming and concept designs. The user needs were developed in close cooperation with the management team, the FH Services and selected study assistants.
The new structure of the website takes into account the different user groups: a target group menu leads directly to the service content for students, graduates, interested parties and companies. The new staging of teaching and research at the University of Applied Sciences is intended to promote interest in the study programs and to clarify the future-oriented positioning of FH St. Pölten. Numerous events and news show the lively activity of the students, staff and researchers.
