Additionally, we use a "two-click solution" to prevent an immediate connection to the Google network "DoubleClick" every time you visit this website. Only playing a video can trigger further data processing operations without our influence.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube will associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
The processing of data is based on your consent as per: (Art. 6 (1) lit a GDPR).
Embedded Vimeo Videos

We use a "two-click solution" to prevent a direct connection to the Vimeo servers every time this website is accessed. Only playing a video can trigger further data processing operations without our influence.

Vimeo uses additional plugins that we have no influence on. We understand that the following plugins are used:
Vimeo uses Google Analytics, a cookie-based web analytics service. The provider of this service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The information about your use generated by cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google Analytics evaluates your use of Vimeo, compiles reports on the activities and provides other services related to your internet usage.
If you do not wish to receive the data collected by Google Analytics, you can prevent this at any time by deactivating cookies in your browser settings.
Vimeo also uses the plugin provided by New Relic Inc., 188 Spear Street, Suite 1200, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA.
This plugin is used for the technical analysis of the servers used for accessibility and performance monitoring of the Vimeo plugin. For this purpose, system-relevant data such as usage times, hardware and software used are collected and user profiles are created. Cookies are used in this process.
If you have a New Relic user account, while you are logged in New Relic associates your visit with your account.
If you do not wish to receive data from New Relic, you can prevent this at any time by deactivating cookies in your browser settings.
We use the functions of the Google Analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google uses this information, within our agreement according to Art.28 of the GDPR, to evaluate users' use of our online offerings, to compile reports on the activities within these online offerings, and to provide us with other services related to online offerings and internet usage. In these cases, pseudonymous usage profiles of users can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the users will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The IP address submitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data provided by Google.
This data processing is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit f GDPR), which is the improvement of our online offer using the collected anonymous data.
With the following information we will inform you about the content of our newsletter as well as the registration, shipping and statistical evaluation procedures, and your right of objection. By subscribing to our newsletter you agree to receive it and the procedures described.
Content of the Newsletters
We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with advertising information (hereinafter "Newsletter") only with the consent of the recipient or with legal permission. If the contents of a Newsletter are accurately described, they are relevant for the consent of the users. Our newsletters mainly contain information on current projects and contributions on the topic of digital media.
Double-Opt-In and Logging
The registration for our newsletter requires a so-called double opt-in procedure. After registration you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that nobody can register with external e-mail addresses.
The registration for the Newsletter will be logged, in order to prove the registration process according to all legal requirements. This includes the storage of the login and the confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Likewise, changes to your data stored with “eyepin” will be logged.
Use of the Service Provider “eyepin”
The Newsletter is sent by "eyepin", a newsletter shipping platform of eyepin GmbH, Billrothstraße 52, 1190 Vienna, Austria.
The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as any other data associated with them, are stored on eyepin`s servers. eyepin uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. However, eyepin does not use the data of our newsletter recipients in order to contact them or to pass this data on to third parties.
Entering your e-mail address is all that is needed to subscribe to the Newsletter.
Statistical Surveys and Analyses
The Newsletters contain so-called counting pixels. A counting pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in emails that are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This allows a statistical evaluation on the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. The embedded pixel lets us know if and when an email was opened. Furthermore, via the Newsletter tracking, which links in the e-mail were accessed by the recipient can be ascertained.
For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual Newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our endeavour nor that of eyepin to observe individual users. These evaluations serve us in recognizing the reading habits of our users, and allow us to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to their interests. This personal data will not be disclosed to third parties.
You can terminate your subscription to our Newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke your consent. At the same time, your consent to it being sent via eyepin and all statistical analyses will lapse. After a revocation, no further data will be collected and the address will be placed on a blacklist to document the deregistration and prevent further submissions. A link to cancel the newsletter can be found at the end of each Newsletter.
Data processing is based on your consent as per (Art. 6 (1) lit a GDPR).
